Alex says

“It’s probably because the Côte d’Azur offers so much to customers of all ages that brings them back year after year. Beaches, cities, glamour and shopping from Montecarlo to St Tropez is all I need to say.”

Camping in Côte d'Azur means sun, sea, stars and shopping. Lots of shopping! Whichever way you look at it, the French Riviera oozes style and sophistication. For some it's the long beaches fringed by azure waters and Mediterranean climate that make the Côte d'Azur the perfect camping holiday destination. For others elegant Cannes, stylish Nice and princely Monaco are simply irresistible. But there's far more to the region than just glamour. Authentic Provencal culture, cuisine and wine are among France's finest. While scenic highlights include the Gorges de Verdon, Pont du Gard and the fragrant perfume town of Grasse. You'll find Al Fresco luxury mobile homes on four fun-packed campsites in the Côte d'Azur: La Baume in Frejus, Esterel in Agay, Douce Quietude in Saint Raphael and Les Prairies de la Mer in Port Grimaud.

What to eat and drink in Cote d'Azur

Salade nicoise, daube beef stew and classic bouillabaisse seafood stew are excellent. Wine wise, go for Bandol and Côtes de Provence rosé and red or refreshing Château Minuty rosé from Gulf of St Tropez.
