 Route 8 Holland Desktop
First stop on this trip through the low countries is Gouda. Stage 1 may be world famous for its eponymous cheese, but the best thing to come out of this town is the stroopwafel - one of these delicious caramel wafers is never enough - you have been warned!

Stage 2 is Rotterdam, Hollands second biggest city. Europe’s largest port is also home to a some stunning modern constructions, which are well worth seeing.

Next door is Belgium, and the first stop is Antwerp. Stage 3 may be famous for its diamond trade, but this historic city can also boast some architectural gems.

Stage 4 on the trip is Brussels; where you can stock up on chocolate and beer - two things Belgium are world beaters at. The city also has some of the most photogenic buildings in Europe, which you can enjoy whilst refuelling with some frites - with mayonnaise, of course!
